‘Rule The World’ who 2 months ago won the award for the ‘Number 1 Take That tribute band’ have released their own 7 part YouTube series. The series shows you what life on the road is really like in a tribute act.
The band have been touring for almost 9 years and have had some amazing highlights including meeting the real Take That on BBC1’s The Graham Norton Show, headlining a festival in Germany to over 20,000 people and appearing on numerous TV shows including ITV1’s ‘Good Morning Britain’ and Channel 4’s ‘The Last Leg’. The boys felt it was time they had their own youtube series.
2 months ago the lads fought off tough competition when they won the NTMA for ‘Number 1 Take That tribute band’. We were very proud of the guys who have worked so hard at being the very closest soundalikes and lookalikes in the business and it was great that they got the recognition they deserved from industry professionals.
Earlier this year the band also released their first album that is now available to buy as merchandise. The album consist of 12 studio recordings of some of the biggest and best Take That hits along with 3 live recordings.
Fans of the band took to social media to thank them for releasing an album and also for including some of their favourite tracks on there. Tracey Wray wrote “Really chuffed hold up a light, said it all, and I’d wait for life are all on! I could go on and on about other songs is like on there but then it would have to be a double cd!!? Great choices, when does it come out? ? xx”. While Sarah McKaig wrote “Can’t wait to receive the signed copy 🙂 x.” and Becky Latham wrote “So glad we’ve ordered ours Sue Clark xx”

The lads have had a great response online so far. Sarah Agrese commented on episode 1 saying “Great start 🙂 from your biggest Aussie fan!” and later wrote “Seriously, the guy that plays Gary leaves me in stitches laughing, what a hilarious man! I am loving this series and you all as a tribute band.”
