Queenergy is a fresh and emerging Queen Tribute Band that has been performing all around the UK from Cornwall to Wales and Newcastle.
Described as more of a “soundalike” rather than a “lookalike”
Queenergy formed in 2020 through the Covid-19 lockdown, when Martyn found the perfect ‘Freddie’ in the form of singer Elliot Rose. After approaching Elliot with his idea, it was an easy decision. Helped by being a massive fan of Queen already, Elliot jumped at the chance to front this amazing project.
Elliot, front man says:
“I don’t just want to sing these songs well, I want to perform them amazingly too. I never aim to be static on stage, otherwise how will I engage an audience or give them a show? I’ve actually had to get fit for this role and start running four days a week so I can leap around on stage, dance and sing without breaking a sweat. If people are spending money to see us and especially to hear Queen, they deserve nothing short of perfect.”
